Sow-n-Reap, really?

Today is July 7, 2015 and I am just hours away from launching Talk is Cheap’s new website. The reason this is huge is because back in 2004, I was being let go from an organization I loved but there was no money to keep me employed. In 2004 I was sad, mad and discouraged, but then something special happened; I began to reap what I had sown. The relationships that I had formed over the prior 15 years or so all began to come full circle and were beginning to help me. Help me? Why? Because, without ever looking for a return, I had helped them. To me it just seemed like the right thing to do, but that’s just it: it was the right thing to do. If you steal something and there was no way you’d be caught, would you? I can only answer for myself, and that answer is NO because it wouldn’t be the right thing to do. In a society that has clearly lost its sense of right and wrong, I believe the golden rule still works! BTW, since there are some who argue no matter what, I’d just simply ask, would you like that done to you?

So, here’s the million-dollar question: what are you sowing? Sowing is reading, learning, helping, teaching, listening, and serving... just to name a few. For the past 9 years, I have been attempting to help the next generation to believe; believe there is a seed of greatness inside of them, that’s sowing. Today as this new TIC website launches, it is only because so many people have gotten onboard and want to see more young people hear that they are not an accident, they are not a mistake, that we truly are standing in the presence of? ….Greatness!  That’s reaping!!!
